Arrival and leaving day…On a Big Sista Adventure to Varanasi.

There are many options for arriving in, or leaving Varanasi and almost all will involve a transit through either Delhi or Bombay. Try and time your flight so that you arrive early enough to transfer onto a domestic flight to Varanasi. Time your leaving flight for mid afternoon for most connections back to Australia and beyond.

Try to avoid a short overnight stopover in the big cities by booking an airport hotel. Returning to one of India’s big airports, particularly Delhi is a process :)

There are many domestic airlines. Search Indian domestic airlines using this link. https://www.makemytrip.com

When booking your domestic flights be aware of how much luggage you have purchased, or need to purchase, not all Indian Airlines charge the same.

No matter what time you arrive in Varanasi you will be met, and transferred in a private car to your accommodation to be welcomed as you settle in.

The first day of your adventure is set aside for arriving. Have a rest, settle in and be welcomed in the evening with dinner and a classical music concert. Short orientation walks throughout the day for the early arrivals

On the last day of a yoga group you will practice and conclude with your teacher before a leisurely breakfast, final goodbyes and your transfer back to Varanasi Airport.
